First State Bank and Trust in Caruthersville invites the community to join their celebration as they honor Robert L. Culler’s 45 years of banking and community service. The retirement party will take place August 4, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Bobby Culler, Executive Vice President of Community Development, is a familiar face at First State Bank & Trust since he began his banking career as a loan officer in 1972, shortly after graduating from Lincoln University. Within a short time Culler was promoted to Vice President and in 1996 Culler was named Senior Vice President.
Over the course of his career, Culler has served on various national, statewide, and local boards. Currently he serves on the following Boards: DAEOC, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Pemiscot Initiative Network, Pemiscot Progressive Industries, Inc. Bobby is an Honorary Member of the Hayti Fire Department and Member of the Missouri State Patrol Academy Advisory Board.
He has served on the Lincoln University Curators Board, ABA Marketing Board; as well as the MBA Regional PAC Committee, the MBA Government Relations Committee, Missouri Agricultural & Small Business Development Authority.
He has been a vocal community activist taking part in numerous functions throughout the Bootheel area. The City of Hayti named Robert Culler, Citizens of the Year in 2016.
Bobby is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow and a member of the Caruthersville and Hayti Rotary Club. He is a member of the Caruthersville Methodist Church.
Robert Culler is married to Tamara Wade Culler and they have two children, Tameika Culler Morris and Terence Culler. One grandson-Jeremiah Morris.
It was indeed a shock to hear about the home going of Robert. Our hearts go out to his family. I have known Tamara since the very day that she was born. They were a beautiful and loving couple. We pray with the family. Albert Mosley, Surprise, AZ.
